Japan

Clients: JNTO, Hakuhodo Germany, KPRN, Mercedes Benz and Turkish Airlines

 

Goal: Producing social media content (photo and video), creating a "bucket list" video series for the destination, getting at least 5 million views on social media and focus especially the Island Yakushima and the ski experience of the north.

Realization: FMD split the camapaign in two different trips. One in fall (November2019), one in winter (February 2020) to get the best seasons for each concept. In the first two weeks on the first trip, 170% of the social media goal was already achieved with 7,6 Million impressions. Two documentaries will feature our experiences and more than 10 bucket list videos will show the different highlights of the country.

Production Time: 10 weeks of preparation and two trips of two weeks each. A few month of post production in 2020

Tanzania

Clients: NGO: Life All Stars , Tourismboards and more.

Goal: Get more attention on the new charity projects of Life All Stars and first donations thorugh the viewers.

Realization: FMD is working for charities and the national tourism board of Tanzania on a regular base and on different projects. In 2016 the trip FMD organized became the second most successful social media trip in Germany in 2016.

Uganda

Client: Uganda Tourism Board (UTB)

Goal: Attention through Social Media Marketing and unique content of the "Pearl of Africa"

Realization: For this production, FMD put together a team which consisted of one photographer, one DOP, one director, one social media manager and one YouTuber. Within two weeks the team was able to capture unique content throughout the entire country by traveling to new spots every day.

Production Time: 4 weeks of preparation, 2 days on gorund and 2 month in 2018

Kenya

Client: Kenya Tourism Board

Goal: Attention through Social Media Marketing and travel blogs.

Realization: FMD casted a team of bloggers and influencers and sent them on a 8-day trip to Kenya. They visited two national parks, 3 luxury resorts and went on multiple safaris. In the end we surpassed the requested impressions by 1600 percent, one of the photos was shortlisted at the Sony World Photography Awards and GoPro shared a videoclip of the trip on their channels.

Production Time: 2 weeks of preparation and 8 days on gorund in 2017

Iceland

Clients: HD-plus, FMD

Goal: Producing 4K and 50 FPS content from Iceland in winter time and developing a new kind of production method.

Realization: A team of four content producers figured out a new way of creating content for TV with an UHD format, the latest and highest quality at this time.

Production Time: Tow weeks of preparation and one week on ground in 2016

Nepal

Client: HD-plus, Haglöfs, FMD

Goal: Producing a documentary about the unseen sights of Nepal and a recap one year after the big earthquake

Realization: For four weeks a team of seven -five specialists from FMD and two influencers- were visiting many sights of the cities and three parts of the Annapurna treks. Content for a luxury eco hotel and the most hidden area of the big earthquake in 2015 was created on the way. In the end it was the first project where FMD proved a new and innovative concept for destination marketing by combining content marketing and social media marketing. The success of the trip led to many invitations for speaker positions to showcase this concept under the headline „via snapchat through Nepal“.

Production Time: Four weeks of preparation and another four weeks on ground in 2016

Seoul

Client: GoPro & Seoul City Government

Goal: Creation of a 1 minute GoPro video in the Seoul Metropolitan Region to promote the camera functionality and the destination.

Realization: With the upcoming 2018 Winter Olympics in mind, sporting and cultural highlights were mixed. To show the versatility of the cameras, different shooting methods were chosen.

Production Time: 21 Days in 2017

Barcelona

Client: GoPro

Goal:Introduce the new GoPro Hero camera to different audiences on social media.

Realization: A short clip was created for social media and many small "viral clips" were distributed via partner networks and GoPro itself.

Production time: 14 Days

Utah

Client: TUI/Visit Utah

Goal: Creation of social ads for multiple personas.

Realization: 9:16 videos were created especially for Instagram. Depending on the persona, different activities and destinations were promoted.

Production time: 20 Days in 2019

Nendaz

Client: MySwitzerland

Goal: Campaign to promote off-piste skiing routes for winter sports experts.

Realization: Content creation on different tours in several winter sports regions together with athletes and local partners. A landing page for each athlete for them to share with their audiences.

Production time: 14 days each in 2019

California

Client: VisitCalifornia

Goal: Create content from lesser known regions and promote road trip feelings on social media

Realization: 4 x 10 days road trip with social media ambassador. "Sea to Mountain" as the main theme as it is one main key feature of the state of California.

Production time: 60 Days in 2018, 2019 and 2020

Campbell River B.C.

Client: Desintation Campbell River

Goal: Content creation and social media promotion for wildlife discovery tours and the countryside around the city.

Realization: Cooperation with local suppliers in the field of outdoor adventure. Ongoing productions depending on the season.

Production time: Flexible, on demand
