Make the brand part of the story

Branded entertainment connects a subject or a brand with a format that has its own entertainment value. The starting point is what viewers want to follow: a challenge, a journey, a competition or a protagonist’s development. That shapes the narrative, the episode structure and the role of each partner.

Format development
We discuss the audience, recurring premise, protagonists, episode length and the relationship between the story and the brand.
Series production
Planning, crew, direction and post-production are considered together. Locations and recurring production needs influence both scope and creative decisions.
YouTube and other channels
A full episode, a trailer and short extracts serve different purposes. The appropriate versions depend on the agreed channels and usage rights.

Ideas put into practice

From the brief to production

  1. Define the idea

Start with the subject, audience, partner role and intended channels.

  2. Develop the format

Describe the recurring premise, episode arc and production scope so the idea can be evaluated and budgeted.

  3. Plan the production

Agree timing, locations, casting, approvals and deliverables before production.

Before we begin

Do we need a finished concept?

No. A subject, an audience and a communication objective are a useful starting point. An existing agency concept can also form the basis of the project.

How does a series differ from a corporate film?

A corporate film usually communicates a focused company or brand message. A series also needs a recognisable premise, a reason to return and a story that develops across episodes.

Does the project include placement on Prime Video or other platforms?

Publication and distribution are agreed for each project. A platform listed in a reference is not a guarantee that a new format will be placed there.

What should we include in an enquiry?

The audience, subject, partner role, channels, timing and budget range. Existing concepts and reference films are helpful too.

A topic, an existing concept or a first brief: we can discuss the next step together.
